I met Jeff in the fall of 1988, and instantly learned that his best trait by far (and I think Dave will back me up on this) was that he was old enough to buy beer. To be fair, I'm guessing the thing Jeff most admired about me right out of the gate was the fact that I had a car. So I drove, Jeff bought and, much like this podcast, I'm not entirely sure what Dave brought to the table. But the three of us (two Vikings fans and a Bears fan) quickly bonded over our mutual dislike of the Packers.
